Rev. Fr. David Madhivanan (born on 11 December 1992) is a native of Mambakkam, Kancheepuram District, Tamil Nadu. He belongs to the Diocese of Chengleput and was ordained a priest on 22 April 2022.

Father David began his priestly formation with the Spiritual Year Course at Francis Xavier Inter-Diocesan Seminary, Vellore. He pursued his Philosophical Studies at Sacred Heart Seminary, Poonamallee, and later completed his Theological Studies at St. Paul’s Seminary, Tiruchirappalli.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in English Literature and Diploma in Folk Arts, reflecting his interest in the harmony between culture and faith.

Fr. David served as Assistant Parish Priest at Holy Family Church, Mamallapuram (2022–2023), and as Vice-Rector at St. Thomas Collegiate Seminary (2023–2024).

He is the author of a book and contributes an article in the publication “Malli Arul.”

With humility and dedication, Fr. David continues to serve the Church, inspiring others through his priestly ministry, writings, and witness to faith.
